Our gluten free chocolate chip cookies are uniquely crispy and deeply delicious, so much so that you can’t tell that it’s gluten free!  They are not only gluten free, but also grain free!

Pre-order today and pick up on the first or second weekend of September.  The pickup location is in Austin, Texas only!  No mail delivery at this time.  The deadline to place your order is August 28 for pick-up the first weekend of September, and September 4th for pick-up the second weekend of the month.  We will send you an email with further details on where to pick up.  It will be about 5 minutes south of downtown.  Please use the Contact form if you have any questions.

I would like to share the story of how we came up with our gluten free chocolate chip cookie recipe.  During the coronavirus pandemic lockdown in 2020, I tried several gluten free cookie recipes that I found online, but was not satisfied with the taste and texture.  My husband, Israel, suggested that I create my own gluten free recipe.  I admit that I do not know how gluten free flour works, but I tried learning with two or three different recipes of my own creation.  They did not turn out that great.  My husband then read some sciencey stuff, came up with a base grain-free flour mix, and told me to try that.  I thought to myself, “This recipe probably won’t turn out good, same as all the others,” but I gave it a try.  It turned out amazingly delicious!  I called this new recipe Izzy’s GF Chocolate Chip Cookie after my husband’s nickname.  I am excited to introduce this new product to y’all from Jen’s Italian Cookies!
